Owner Chris Black is a Certified Remodeler (CR) and a Certified Green Professional (CGP). Additionally, Blackline Renovations is EPA Certified. We are committed to maintaining the highest professional standards for all of our work. We are also a member of NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

When you work with a Certified Remodeler, you are working with a professional who provides a full range of remodeling services and is committed to continuing education. Certified Remodelers have been educated about building codes, job site evaluations, green remodeling and building science, and how to ensure that a job is done correctly.  (source)
As a Certified Green Professionals, we are, “builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes— without driving up the cost of construction. Classwork leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.” (source)
EPA Certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest environmental standards for all of our work.  In addition, EPA certification means that we will, “assign a Certified Renovator to each renovation that it performs, use only certified or properly trained individuals to perform renovations, and follow the work practice standards and recordkeeping requirements in the regulation.” (source) Per federal regulations, all renovations and remodeling firms are required to have at least one EPA certified renovator on staff.  (source)
